Tenderstem® broccoli crowned an adventurous summer by setting a new, all-time sales record and scooping a major healthy food award.
Sales of Tenderstem® broccoli reached more than 1.35 million kilos in August – a 35% increase on the same time last year and the highest monthly sales total ever! Cumulative 2019 sales to the end of August exceeded 10 million kilos. This represents a 29% rise on cumulative sales for the same period in 2018.
Tenderstem® broccoli earned a coveted award in the Best of Health Awards over the summer too. Tenderstem® broccoli was named the winner of the Speedy Suppers category at the annual awards due to its versatility and nutritional credentials. The awards, which are organised by Healthy Food Guide magazine, champion the best of the best healthy products on the market.
