Trio of appointments keeps Coregeo growing

Coregeo – best known for cultivating fresh produce brands like Pink Lady® apples and Tenderstem® broccoli into household names – has appointed three new team members to its growing team.

Julie Criddle has been appointed Trade Marketing Manager to manage the Pink Lady® UK trade accounts, working with Pink Lady® Europe during the Northern Hemisphere season. She will also be responsible for developing Pink Lady® and Tenderstem® business in the Middle East by working with importers and retailers in the Gulf.

Julie has more than 20 years’ fresh and chilled food FMCG experience, supplying all the major UK retailers. She has worked at global food producers and manufacturing businesses through to start-up enterprises and also has PR, product marketing and advertising experience. Most recently she was Hilton Food’s Tesco red meat category manager, leading commercial, consumer insight and new product development teams and also headed up Hilton’s UK new and emerging plant-based business unit, launching products into Tesco's Plant Chef and Wicked Kitchen range as well Hilton's vegan and vegetarian brands.

This appointment allows Lynn Shaw, Marketing Manager for Pink Lady®, to work alongside Group Head of Marketing, Michelle Evans, on the brand’s global marketing focus.

Caroline Engevi has joined Coregeo in a newly created role of Assistant Marketing Manager and will work on the Bimi® and Tenderstem® brands across many geographical markets alongside Marketing Managers Theresa Richards (Bimi®) and Lacey Bradshaw (Tenderstem®).

Caroline has a diverse background in branding and events and in delivering multi-channel campaigns. Most recently she was Marketing and Communications Manager in Veolia’s nuclear division. She also has experience in FMCG from Unilever where she worked on the Lipton brand, and in heritage/tourism from the Museum of Royal Worcester where she launched the organisation into the world of digital marketing.

Ola Oyelade makes up the trio, having joined Coregeo in the newly created role of Social Media Manager.

Ola is a digital media manager specialist with extensive experience of driving online customer engagement through social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Previous roles include Facebook’s Marketing and Community Manager, freelance Social Tools Manager at Sprinklr and Ford Motor Company’s Digital Media Manager. Ola also worked for Fox 5 News on shows about tourism sectors in developing countries and has worked on UK Government marketing campaigns.
